SEDIS Light Technology S.r.l. has worked for many years designing optics for every type of lighting.
The Company was originally aimed at the car market, which is tied to design requirements, strict ratification regulations, maximum performance and quick results. We are now launched into the civilian lighting technology market. Particularly in some areas such as street lighting or the medical sector, this market needs highly efficient equipment, increasingly specialised photometric distribution, and low energy consumption. Furthermore, with regard to designer lamps, the market needs objects that are not only beautiful, but are also functional, efficient and above all, do not damage the eyesight.
We work on optical design with large companies and famous designers, collaborating with them on innovative research and feasibility studies. Apart from the sectors already mentioned, many people have confidently approached us. From producers of theatrical and publicity lighting, to planners of natural (solar) lighting systems, together with companies specialised in systems (lamps) for testing the ageing of materials, and producers of bicycle lights or motorcycle lamps.
SEDIS now has at its disposal engineers, architects, designers and other personnel who are becoming increasingly specialised, with the help of avant garde calculation and simulation programmes. SEDIS can also call on selected companies to produce prototypes and carry out projects quickly. Our aim is to improve every day, so that we can, where possible, improve you and your products.
