PLANNING THE OPTICAL FUNCTION

In this stage, by using software programmes we have developed ourselves, we are quickly able to identify the surfaces calculated, together with the lens and/or reflector that is most suited to the project. These can either be classical or innovative and are therefore able to satisfy both the photometric requirements as well as the aesthetics. We then move on to the next stage: simulation.

OPTICAL SIMULATION OF THE PLANNED FUNCTION

This is the heart of our work. Using sophisticated software programmes devised by ourselves, which are continuously improved and updated over the years, we are able to simulate, using a computer, the propagation and distribution of the light from any optical function (lens and/or reflector). We can therefore obtain the relevant photometric values with a precision and realism that are absolutely analogous to those obtained by measuring real prototypes.

ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS AND OPTIMIZATION OF THE SIMULATED FUNCTION

On the basis of the results obtained, if they are satisfactory, we then proceed to the virtual construction of the environment in which our optic function will be placed, before making the prototype. If the results are not satisfactory, we correct the mathematics and subsequently the designs, until there is a complete harmony between the theoretical suppositions and the simulated data.

 

CREATION OF VIRTUAL SCENES TO BE ILLUMINATED BY THE OPTICAL FUNCTION

The optical function designed by us, like any other type of function, can be introduced into virtual scenes, from which it is possible to obtain photo-realistic images. From these scenes, thanks to the software, we can obtain different photometric and energy data, and can therefore display what will be the final result, in the environment. Finally, after passing all the tests, a prototype can be made of our optical function.

PROTOTYPE

Finally, after the first part of the theoretical planning (calculations, simulation, design) has been completed, we are able to provide you with the final prototype. The realisation of this prototype will be decided upon and followed up in collaboration with you, after careful studies of the most suitable materials and techniques. We only ever use highly specialised technicians and companies, thereby optimising times and costs and guaranteeing maximum efficiency and quality.

At the client's request, we are able to take on the production of optical functions (reflectors, headlamps, projectors) and follow it through to completion, providing estimates of cost and times. We also guarantee future assistance and the quality of the final product.
