Lum22 is a complete photometric bench, used for carrying out precise and efficient measurements of catadioptrics and passive reflectance systems. Designed to adapt to any photometric laboratory, Lum22 can be used at different measurement distances for the photometric functions. This is due to calibrated automatic systems for positioning the photocells, and due also to software programmes which manage the measurements which have been taken, and process the values in real time.
A hardware interface connected with the software allows the simultaneous use of two photocells, which means that much time is saved and making it simpler to carry out the measurements. Lum22 is comprised of a heavy, compact anti-vibrational bench, designed in accordance with the strict requirements and the technical specifications of the main international photometric laboratories. The surface that holds the measuring tools has adjustable feet that allow this surface plane to be calibrated with great ease, thus guaranteeing maximum precision during measurement.
A projector, connected to a direct current, is fixed to the surface. The beam from this projector has a variable width and high uniformity of light intensity.
Due to a system of diaphragms, it is possible to obtain, at 10 metres, a beam width with a range that varies from one metre to just 9 cms, whilst maintaining unaltered characteristics of uniformity, colour temperature and strength of the beam.
A small vertical column, marked in millimetres, which supports the photocells, allows the adjustment of the measuring position of these photocells. It is possible to position them up to 20 mm from the centre of the beam of light, with respect to its minimum diameter.
The photocells used in the standard configuaration are no. 2 LMT high precision photocells with thermal regulation.
