STREET LIGHTING

Due to the fact that over the last few years the competition is becoming increasingly strong and technically prepared, and also to the fact that tenders must be won, there is now a widespread demand for efficient products that perform well, and have wide light distribution able to illuminate the largest area possible with just one lamp. This would mean that Councils and systems installers would save a considerable amount of money.
Currently, plans which regulate urban development are becoming increasingly strict, both on shapes, which must harmonize with the environment, and on light pollution and energy savings.
Therefore it is necessary to review optics which have become obsolete or non-competitive, whilst trying to keep the "case" in which they are housed. An alternative is to plan new, avant garde systems where the "optical system" will be the model for the construction of the covering, after careful thermal analysis, using highly efficient, innovative materials.
SEDIS has been working and carrying out research in the above area for some time, in order to provide ever more competitive optics.
